Mandarin, also known as Standard Chinese, is the official language of the People's Republic of China and is spoken by over 1.3 billion people worldwide. It is also one of the six official languages of the United Nations. Mandarin is a tonal language with four main tones, and it uses simplified Chinese characters.

There are many popular musical artists using Mandarin language, including Jay Chou, Wang Leehom, JJ Lin, and Mayday. Jay Chou is one of the most popular and influential musicians in the Mandarin-speaking world. He is known for his unique blend of pop, R&B, and traditional Chinese music, and has released numerous hit albums since his debut in 2000. Wang Leehom is another popular artist known for his fusion of Western and Chinese music, as well as his activism in promoting Chinese culture. JJ Lin and Mayday are also well-known for their pop and rock music in Mandarin.

In terms of radio stations, there are many stations that broadcast in Mandarin around the world. In China, some of the most popular stations include Beijing Music Radio FM 97.4, Beijing Traffic Radio FM 103.9, and China National Radio Voice of China FM 97.4. In Taiwan, some of the most popular stations include Hit FM 107.7, ICRT FM 100.7, and Super FM 98.5. In other parts of the world, stations such as 988 FM in Malaysia, Radio Televisyen Malaysia in Singapore, and Phoenix Chinese Radio in the United States also broadcast in Mandarin.
