Radio in telugu language

Telugu is a Dravidian language spoken in the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, as well as several other nearby states. It is the third most spoken language in India, after Hindi and Bengali, with over 81 million speakers. The language has a rich literary tradition dating back to the 11th century.

In the Telugu film industry, also known as Tollywood, there are many popular musical artists who sing in Telugu. Some of the most popular Telugu singers include Sid Sriram, Armaan Malik, Anurag Kulkarni, Shreya Ghoshal, and S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, who was a legendary singer and actor until his passing in 2020. Many Telugu film songs are known for their catchy beats and beautiful lyrics.

There are several radio stations in India that broadcast in Telugu. Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, which has a network of over 50 stations across the country, has a dedicated Telugu station that plays a mix of Telugu film songs and popular hits. Other popular Telugu radio stations include Red FM 93.5, 92.7 Big FM, and All India Radio's Telugu service. These stations play a variety of music and also feature talk shows and news programs in Telugu.
