Low German, also known as Plattdeutsch, is a regional language spoken in northern Germany and parts of the Netherlands. It is a West Germanic language and has a number of dialects that differ from region to region. Low German is considered a minority language and is not as widely spoken as High German.

Despite this, there are a number of popular musical artists who use Low German in their music. One such artist is Ina Müller, a singer-songwriter from Hamburg. Her music is known for its honest and frank lyrics, often touching on topics such as love, relationships, and everyday life. Another popular artist is Klaus & Klaus, a duo from Lower Saxony who are known for their catchy pop songs and humorous lyrics.

In addition to music, there are also a number of radio stations that broadcast in Low German. One such station is Radio Ostfriesland, which broadcasts to the East Frisia region of Lower Saxony. Another is Radio Niederdeutsch, which broadcasts to the entire Low German-speaking region. These stations play a mix of music and talk shows in Low German, providing a platform for the language to be heard and spoken.

While Low German may not be as widely spoken as other languages, its use in music and radio shows helps to preserve the language and keep it alive for future generations.
