Dzongkha is the official language of Bhutan and is spoken by the majority of the population. As Bhutan is a small country, there aren't many popular musicians who sing in Dzongkha, but there are a few who have gained recognition for their unique sound. One such artist is Kunga Gyaltshen, a popular singer who is known for blending traditional Dzongkha music with modern pop and rock elements. Another notable artist is Sonam Wangchen, who sings in both Dzongkha and English and has gained a following for his fusion of Bhutanese and Western music styles.

In terms of radio stations, Bhutan Broadcasting Service Corporation (BBSC) is the national broadcaster of Bhutan and operates several radio channels in Dzongkha, including Dzongkha Domestic Service and Dzongkha National Service. These stations feature news, talk shows, cultural programs, and music in Dzongkha. There are also a few community radio stations that broadcast in Dzongkha, such as Radio Valley 99.9 FM in Bumthang and Radio Kuzoo FM 90.7 in Thimphu, which play a mix of contemporary and traditional Dzongkha music. Overall, the Dzongkha language and culture continue to be celebrated through music and media in Bhutan.
