The Welsh language, also known as Cymraeg, is one of the oldest languages in Europe and is spoken by over 700,000 people in Wales. Welsh is a Celtic language that has been spoken in Wales for over 1,500 years. It is one of the official languages of Wales, alongside English.

In recent years, there has been a resurgence of interest in the Welsh language, particularly in the music industry.
