Electronic music in India has come a long way since its inception in the late 1990s. Over the years, EDM (Electronic Dance Music), Dubstep and House have become increasingly popular and have garnered a huge fan base among the Indian youth. Some of the most popular electronic music artists in India include Naezy, Ritviz, Anish Sood, Dualist Inquiry, and Zaeden. These artists have gained a strong following not only in India but also internationally, with many of them performing at major music festivals across the globe. The Indian electronic music scene has also been propelled by the emergence of a number of online music platforms, including SoundCloud and Bandcamp, which have given independent artists the opportunity to reach a wider audience. Radio stations like Red FM and Radio Indigo are at the forefront of promoting electronic music in India. In fact, Radio Indigo was the first radio station in India to start a dedicated show for electronic music.
