Pacific Island music refers to the traditional and contemporary music of the diverse cultures and ethnicities of the Pacific Islands. The music is known for its rhythmic beats, harmonious melodies, and unique instruments. Some of the most popular Pacific Island music genres include Hawaiian, Tahitian, Samoan, Fijian, Tongan, and Maori.

One of the most popular Pacific Island music artists is Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, also known as "IZ." He was a Hawaiian musician and songwriter who blended traditional Hawaiian music with contemporary styles, and became famous for his rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." Other notable Pacific Island music artists include Keali'i Reichel, a Hawaiian musician and dancer; Te Vaka, a Pacific Island music group from New Zealand; and O-shen, a reggae artist from Papua New Guinea.

There are several radio stations that specialize in Pacific Island music, including KCCN FM100, which is based in Honolulu and features Hawaiian music and local news; Niu FM, a Pacific Island music station based in Auckland, New Zealand; and Radio 531pi, a Samoan radio station based in Auckland. These stations play a variety of Pacific Island music genres and provide a platform for both established and up-and-coming artists.
