Radio Rhema started broadcasting in April 2001 with trial broadcasts, and was inaugurated on November 24, 2001 by Rev. Petrus Agung Purnomo. It started with broadcasting 19 hours a day from 05.00 WIB to 24.00 WIB, but now Radio Rhema preaches the gospel 24 hours a day in Semarang and the surrounding cities.
