The radio station POLITIA 90.7 has been operating since 1999 and broadcasts throughout the prefecture of Laconia, Elafonissos and Kythira. It is based in Sparta and is located at 24 Konstantinou Paleologu Street, the most central street of the city. Its program is informative and entertaining and broadcasts 24 hours a day. Its news broadcasts are mainly local in nature, while the music broadcasts cover the entire spectrum of Greek and foreign music. With daily responses from various regions of Laconia as well as the neighboring prefectures of Arcadia and Messinia, listeners are informed on all topics.
