Rádio Excelsior is the only station in the Region of Greater Salvador that is exclusively Catholic. It belongs to the Dom Avelar Brandão Vilela Foundation, linked to the Archdiocese of São Salvador da Bahia. The radio has been on the air for over 70 years.
