Before 1995, the state of Adrar suffered from a deadly media isolation, which was manifested in the lack of newspapers, the difficulty of capturing the programs of the national television and radio, and the restriction of radio broadcasts to the programs of Channel One only and Radio Al-Soura in Bashar, as the latter was the only outlet for the residents of the region, and the echo of Adrar reached through correspondents from the region, who are the gentlemen : Mohamed Nouifdi, Ahmed Jouli, Abdel Nasser Tabaq and Abdel Rahman Taheri, in addition to the correspondents of the Algerian News Agency and Al-Khabar and Al-Jumhuriya newspapers.
