KUSC is the largest classical music public radio station in the United States. This is a non-profit listener-supported radio aiming to promote classical music. They do it for more than 60 years and thanks to donations of their listeners they manage to keep their on-air broadcasting without any commercials.. KUSC is licensed to Los Angeles, California, located in the downtown Los Angeles and serves Southern California. It is available on FM frequencies and on HD Radio. KUSC was first launched in 1946. Currently it is owned and operated by the University of Southern California and this is actually what its callsign means –University of Southern California.
