Amaliadas Radio Station. The Amaliadas Radio Station was founded in 1952 by Spyros Beratis, a student of "Radioelectricity" at the time, out of enthusiasm and passion, wanting to offer something to his place and mainly to make our small town known to a lot more people. The Radio Station operated with the knowledge of the then National Radio Foundation (EIR), broadcasting on 1620 kilocycles, covering Western Greece from Kalamata to Patras and Zakynthos to Corfu.
