The first environmental radio in Serbia and the region, founded in 1995 in Kragujevac.
The work of Green Radio was made possible by the Green Party.
Zeleni radio was the first ecological radio station in Serbia created in 1995 as a project of the non-governmental Association of Environmental Organizations of the Republic of Serbia (EKOS), which broadcast its program in Kragujevac for a short period of time, but after several refusals to grant it the official frequency of the then Ministry of Telecommunications of Serbia (due to criticism of the then current regime of Slobodan Milošević) stopped working, only to start working again in free Serbia after the collapse of slobism.
