The Spiritual Voluntary Assistance Nucleus (Nave) promotes spiritual and inter-religious assistance to patients, companions, family members and INCA employees, respecting the dignity, individuality, autonomy and rights of patients, in line with one of the doctrinal principles of the SUS: completeness. Created in 2007, Nave is part of the National Humanization Policy and is aligned with the very definition of Health made by the World Health Organization, which recognizes the relationship between spirituality and health as a factor that contributes to the well-being of human beings.
