Vogtland Radio is a regional private Saxon radio station that broadcasts from a studio in Plauen and can be received analogously via VHF in the region of West Saxony, Vogtland, East Thuringia (Thuringian Vogtland). Vogtland Radio started broadcasting on September 28, 1998. The radio program is also fed into various Saxon and Thuringian cable networks and distributed on the Internet as a live stream. The advertising slogan of the station is: "Vogtland Radio - Here you are at home!". The station appeals to a listener target group aged 29 to 59 years. He mainly plays the AC (Adult Contemporary) music format. In addition to music, there is news, traffic reports and comments every half hour on weekdays, hourly in the evenings and at weekends, mainly from the Vogtland, western Saxony, eastern Thuringia and Upper Franconia. Vogtland Radio is a member of the nationwide advertising association of the Sachsen Funkpaket and the Sachsen-Hit-Kombi. The 24-hour program is produced independently and without subcontracting in the broadcasting center in Plauen/Haselbrunn.
