The UIS A.M. 670, "La Nueva Radio", began its broadcasts on May 22, 2002, seeking to become a non-formal educational medium and extension for the community of the department of Santander. Its daily programming is essentially musical, and the dissemination and interpretation of Colombian, Andean and Latin American folklore that gives identity to the countries of our region stands out, as well as the realization of educational training spaces, construction of citizenship and national identity.
