Central People's Broadcasting Station's Tibetan-language broadcast was formerly the Tibetan-language program launched by Central People's Broadcasting Station on May 22, 1950, and it was also the earliest minority-language broadcast by Central People's Broadcasting Station. On March 1, 2009, it was separated from the Voice of the Nation, and the daily broadcast was increased from 8 hours to 18 hours[1], broadcasting in U-Tsang dialect, Kang dialect, and Amdo dialect; increased in 2010 The Amdo dialect and the Kangba dialect news comprehensive program were broadcast for 2 hours each, from 5:55 am to 0:05 am Beijing time the next day. In 2011, the Lhasa editorial department of the Central People's Broadcasting Station's Tibetan Broadcasting Center was inaugurated[2].
