Szent István Rádió (SZIR) is a Hungarian regional Catholic radio. It operates 24 hours a day with its headquarters in Eger as a regional community broadcaster. In its program time, mainly public service and religious programs are broadcast, which cover the whole of everyday life and talk about all important issues of the economy, society and culture. It is primarily based on the human voice, the ratio of text to music is 53.45%. It is operated by the Hungarian Catholic Radio Foundation, which was founded by the Hungarian Catholic Bishops' Conference in 2005.
