Spitalradio LuZ broadcasts a 24-hour program for the Lucerne Cantonal Hospital. A moderator is live in the studio at the Lucerne Cantonal Hospital four times a week. Young or a little older. There's something for everyone. Outside of the live broadcasts, a non-stop music program can be heard. A mix of over 5,000 music hits.. Spitalradio LuZ went on the air for the first time at Christmas in 1990. In the record time of just 2 months, a few steadfast young people set up a 10-day test operation in the cantonal hospital. What started as an experiment soon became continuous operation. Spitalradio LuZ was founded in November 1991 as an association with the aim of presenting a self-produced program to the patients of the Lucerne Cantonal Hospital every Sunday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
