Slingeland FM has been the local public radio station of and in the municipality of Winterswijk in the Achterhoek since October 31, 1992. Slingeland FM originated from the pirate Baccara and merged on January 18, 1996 with the medical broadcaster Studio XYZ. Slingeland FM has been available since the beginning of the radio station via the ether and analogue cable. Since 2011, Slingeland FM has also been included in the digital package of fiber optic providers Glashart media and KPN.
