SKY Radio has been broadcasting since June 1, 2016, when it replaced the local Radio Prešov. It has the ambition to expand beyond Prešov and cover most of eastern Slovakia through new frequencies. For the radio, music is a priority, it also wants to strengthen lesser-known East Slovak bands on the air. The program structure should be really varied - the program should include hit parades, regional news and sports, a folklore program and fairy tales for children. Space should also be given to national minorities, especially Ruthenian, Roma and Hungarian.
