Rádio Zarco is a local radio station from Madeira with coverage of the city of Machico, belonging to the Rádios Madeira group. It plays diversified music and its coverage covers the municipalities of Machico and Santa Cruz with an estimated total of almost 65,000 inhabitants. Currently, its coordinator is Rogério Capelo. It was founded in 1989. Since then it occupies the facilities in the Bemposta Housing Complex Ap-A1/A2 – Água Pena. It is currently the most listened radio in the municipality of Machico with the slogan: “Rádio Zarco, Machico in the heart”.
