More than 1000 citizens from Frankfurt, Offenbach and the surrounding area (together in about 80 groups) create advertising-free, non-commercial radio for their region. All editors work on a voluntary basis. radio x offers a wide range of programs, from live music and DJ sessions to magazines that report on all areas of society: Music, art, culture, politics, literature, theatre, dance, cinema, comics and games, radio for children, district radio, programs for real specialists and fans of all kinds of genres, programs in various European and non-European languages, comedy, radio plays, sound collages, etc.
