Once upon a time, there were three pirate radios that were different from each other but had the same dream. Assume the status of legal radios. Rádio Horizonte in Estarreja, Rádio Moliceiro in the parish of Pardilhó and Rádio Independente in Salreu. So they decided to get together and form a cooperative, Rádio Voz da Ria. On June 20, 1987, the dream came true and authorization was given for legal emissions to begin.
