Headquartered on the Bauru campus, in the central-west region of the State of São Paulo, the broadcaster, which is public, with a cultural and educational character, maintains a diversified programming schedule, offering its listeners culture, education, services, information and guidelines, broadcasting thematic programs in the most different areas. Rádio Universitária UNESP FM was aired for the first time on May 13, 1991.
