Radio Universidad is the public service cultural radio station of the Juárez University of the State of Durango, which broadcasts quality programmatic content to create a culture with a universal and humanist sense; the dissemination of university work, respect for diversity and the promotion of the democratization of knowledge. Radio UJED was officially born on March 21, 1976, in the words of the rector in turn, Lic. José Hugo Martínez, C.Rubén Ontiveros Rentería expressed a phrase that to this day continues to be the commitment of our station "Radio Universidad is born today, to be eternal from now on, with the permanent, obligatory and efficient task of adapting the media for cultural purposes that our Maximum House of Studies intends."
