Radio Tandem was born in 1977 in Oltrisarco, a suburb of Bolzano, as a neighborhood radio (then its name, significantly, was Radio Popolare). In over twenty years of activity, through the Tandem Kulturverein Cultural Association, it has also become a strong cultural subject in the city of Bolzano. In the early 1980s, she was the first to organize large gatherings of local rock groups (the unforgettable “Altrockio”), and then dozens of concerts: Almamegretta, Csi, Marlene Kuntz, Vox Populi, Parto delle folle folle (for to name but a few).
