Radio "TAU" is the oldest radio station in Kaunas, broadcasting in the city of Kaunas and within a radius of 70 kilometers around Kaunas, and on the Internet all over the world. This radio started broadcasting in the medium wave range in 1993 and was called Radio Studio "Tau", which was headed by Arvydas Linartas. After half a year, the work of the broadcasting station stopped. Soon, its own FM wave transmitter was built, and on December 22, 1994, "TAU" began broadcasting again on the FM frequency of 102.9 MHz. Now the radio station belongs to Artvydas UAB.
