Rádio Sol is a local radio station from Madeira covering the municipality of Ponta do Sol, belonging to the Rádios Madeira group. It plays diversified music from Portuguese popular music, pop, rock. Currently, its coordinator is Rogério Capelo. It was founded in 1989. Since then it has occupied the premises in the Edifício das Murteiras-Canhas. It is currently the radio in the municipality that most promotes the culture and traditional music of Ponta do Sol. With the slogan: “Radio Sol, feel the radio”.
