The Community Radio Serrana FM 87.9, an important communication vehicle in our city, started operating in March 2006 and in 2017, it completes 11 years of providing relevant communication services in the municipality of Lagoa Nova. With an eclectic program aimed at publicizing matters of interest to the community, Rádio Serrana FM has a cast of competent collaborators, who during this 11-year period have sought to do their best, prioritizing offering a quality service to their listeners. Recently, the broadcaster's management invested in equipment, acquiring modern microphones in order to improve the quality of the audio that reaches the receivers of its listeners. In terms of local religiosity, the broadcaster has reserved space on its schedule so that the churches in the municipality can express their beliefs, thus making contact with their followers.
