On the air for 57 years, Rádio Santa Cruz develops a work of great importance for Ilhéus and other cities in the cocoa region. Created on February 17, 1959, Rádio Jornal de Ilhéus, as it was called, belonged to radio host Oswaldo Bernardes de Souza and was the second radio station to be implemented in the city.
