Emissora de Educação Rural operated for forty years in its original building, located on Rua Açu, in Tirol, Natal. In September 1998, forty years later, with the aim of reducing operating costs and in an attempt to improve the quality of its signal, Rádio Rural began operating at a new address: Bairro Candelária, in the same city, where it remained for just two years..
In August 2001, with the direct contribution of listeners through spontaneous donations, Emissora de Educação Rural returned to its original building, now completely restored and expanded. Founded by the then Apostolic Administrator of Natal, Dom Eugênio de Araújo Sales, the Natal Rural Education station is one of the first stations in Rio Grande do Norte and has a pioneering history in radio culture throughout Brazil. The inauguration of the Issuer took place on August 10, 1958.
