The local radio from North Rhine-Westphalia brings oldie-heavy pop music and classics from the 80s and 90s as well as local news and information for the region. RADIO RST broadcasts ten hours of local programming Monday to Friday: The morning show is moderated from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. by Kathleen Berger and Sören Harting with a.o. Patrick Melz in the news, followed by Jaqueline Kleihaus in the morning until 12 p.m. and Carsten Uhl from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. At the weekend, RADIO RST broadcasts i.a. with moderator Dirk Stullich and Christian Jünemann in the newsroom. The news on the hour includes a regional news report including weather and traffic during prime and drive time, and a three-minute regional news edition including weather and traffic every half hour from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
