Music News Sports Radio Pescara was born in the spring of 1975 thanks to the work of two friends, one who broadcasts a very popular program of dedications and the other responsible for the journalistic editorial staff. Its old headquarters was in via Palermo in 1975 but in the 80s the broadcaster moved to the very center of Piazza 1 Maggio, to end its activity in 1985 with the old property, in via Lago Isoletta. The old frequencies in FM 100.88 (later also 88.00). Radio Pescara is among the first broadcasters to broadcast a commented football match of Pescara Calcio with a real sports editorial staff. In 1979 a local TV was also incorporated. In 1985 it closed its doors reopening with new owners in the digital age. THE HISTORY: It broadcast from 2 to 10 pm, but in the 80s 24 hours a day. Among the first collaborators, about a dozen, many very young people, now voices and presenters also established today in Rai. Disco pera” a sort of Hit Parade, a program of funky soul and lots of music and sport. The broadcaster was seized at the time, and those responsible at the time were sentenced on conditional sentences, then they reopened the frequency, in the meantime the sentence of the Constitutional Court arrived which decreed the end of the monopoly and the broadcaster reopened its doors.
