Radio Munot is the station for the Schaffhausen region. The transmission area includes the entire canton of Schaffhausen, parts of the cantons of Thurgau and Zurich and parts of the German districts of Waldshut, Schwarzwald-Baar and Konstanz. The Radio Munot studio is located in the old town of Schaffhausen. Radio Munot is a local radio station in Switzerland based in Schaffhausen and was founded in 1983. Named after the landmark of Schaffhausen, the Munot Fortress. The transmission area covers the entire canton of Schaffhausen, the Thurgau district of Diessenhofen and part of the Zurich wine region up to Winterthur. Radio Munot can also be received in the German border area.
