Radio La Frontera de Temuco has a 65-year position in the entire Araucanía Region and its 31 communes that compose it, plus part of the Eighth Region to the north and the Tenth Region to the south. At times starting at 7:30 p.m., we confirm coverage up to 400 to 500 kilometers in radius, covering towns adjacent to General Carrera Lake, Puerto Ibáñez, Guadal and Chile Chico. Also the Argentine valley of Neuquén.. Radio La Frontera A.M., a pioneer in communications in the South of Chile, was founded in October 1939. At its inauguration, the first transmissions were made with a mobile phone from an airplane, which caused a great sensation in the Region.
