Radio Istra is the first private radio station in Istria. She appeared on the Istrian airwaves for the first time on September 22, 1991. The backbone of Radio Istra's program is diverse and recognizable music, as well as informative and other author's shows that follow current events from all areas of human activity, for example economy, politics, culture, sports. The program includes entertainment as well as educational and scientific shows, a show for the Italian national minority, shows of religious culture, a children's show and a youth show for young people. The program of Radio Istra 24 hours a day is designed in such a way as to be accessible and interesting to numerous profiles and ages of listeners throughout Istria and Kvarner.
