Rádio Inova

Rádio Inova FM 107.3 is an Educational Radio belonging to the Olga de Sá Foundation. Legally registered, it requested authorization for the Sound Radio Diffusion Service in Modulated Frequency, from the Ministry of Communications, on an exclusively educational basis, for the city of Lorena, São Paulo, on channel 297 E-C, frequency 107.3 MHz, provided for in the Basic Plan of Distribution of Channels of said Service. This occurred on April 3, 2002. After ten years, it began its work on April 9, 2012, being the only FM in the city with its own programming focused mainly on information, education, culture, citizenship, human values ​​and regional culture . In line with its mission, it publicizes the works of social entities in the municipality such as UPA - União Protetora dos Animais de Lorena, COMMAM - Municipal Council for the Environment of Lorena, broadcasts the sessions of Câmara de Lorena, and others. Among its works developed, the radio promotes, in partnership with Rádio Câmara, programs to combat drugs, campaigns on dengue, alcoholism, water waste, care for the environment and men’s and women’s health, in addition to covering events cultural activities, credibly propagating education and culture in general. Its studios and transmitters are installed on the premises of FATEA – Faculdades Integradas Teresa D’Ávila located at Av. Dr. Peixoto de Castro, 539, Lorena/SP. The programming of Rádio Educativa Inova FM 107.3 can also be heard in the cities of Guaratinguetá, Piquete, Canas, Cachoeira Paulista and Cruzeiro and has the capacity to reach more than 250 (two hundred and fifty) thousand listeners, in addition to offering programming over the internet . This year the radio received a Motion of Applause for the services provided to the community of Lorena. We also had the opportunity to receive councilors from Lorena and the Municipal Mayor of Lorena to inform the population of the work carried out. In May, we carried out the live broadcast of the Lorena Coffee Week for the first time, and in August, we made history by broadcasting the traditional Tournament of the Patroness live from the Commercial Club of Lorena. In addition to the various coverages, the radio also helped organize Pink October and Blue November in partnership with FATEA Nursing courses. In November, the radio partnered with FATI students to create the first radio soap opera to be broadcast on Inova FM. In December, we exclusively broadcast the Volleyball Super League, which brought together big names in the sport in Brazil, such as “Lorena”, direct from Clube Comercial de Lorena. Arildo Silva de Carvalho Junior, at the head of the radio's management, is the Radialist, Journalist and Educommunicator, who coordinates students of the Social Communication course and makes available, with his team, all the space for the community to also participate in publicizing their work.
