Radio Guatapuri, station H.J.N.S. was founded in Valledupar - Cesar - Colombia - South America, on August 30, 1963. The station began with 1 kilowatt of power on the antenna on the frequency 1,490 kilocycles of the modulated amplitude (AM) and in only three years, thanks to its work and coverage, its power increased to 10 kilowatts. In 1974, the Ministry of Communications authorized the change of power, from 10 to 25 kilowatts and the frequency went from 1,140 to 740 kilocycles, which currently distinguishes it.
