Radio GRA was established in Toruń on October 1, 1993. The new Toruń station started broadcasting the program on the frequency of 73.35 MHz. Its first president and editor-in-chief was Zbigniew Ostrowski. After receiving the license in 1994, the station moved to 68.15 MHz (remaining on it until 2000). In 1995, broadcasting was also started on the 88.8 MHz frequency, on which the station broadcasts its main program for the Toruń Region to this day.
