Rádio Fóia

Rádio Fóia C.R.L. is a local radio station based in the village of Monchique, in the Algarve region of Portugal. It is a Cooperative of Radio Service Producers, formed on May 7, 1987. It broadcasts on FM in the 97.1 MHz frequency. Its issuing center is located in Fóia, at the highest point of the Serra de Monchique, which allows it to have coverage in the Algarve, Baixo Alentejo and even the South Bank of the Tagus. The programming, almost entirely self-produced, is live and continuous, divided between local news services of its own production and national chains and recreational programs where interaction with listeners and the massive dissemination of Portuguese music and Portuguese authors constitute a clear option and brand image.
