Radio Fabulosa was founded on February 14, 1967 on the frequency 920.0 AM. It began operations in a room at the San Francisco Hotel and was later transferred to the Zelaya building in front of the Amazon lodge. Radio Fabulosa with 920MHz became part of the FM frequencies on the 102.1 dial. In the 80's, it remained on both 920 AM and 102.1 FM frequencies, covering much more of the North-Western territory.
