The station was founded in 1988 and on October 10, 1989 it began its activities with a 1kw transmitter, staying with this power until 1994, when it changed its frequency from 100.3 MHZ to 100.1 MHZ, after changing the transmitter to 10kw. In 1996, its antenna was upgraded to 6 elements and the power to 30kw, where it remains until today.
