Rádio Condestável is a regional broadcaster based in Cernache do Bonjardim, in the municipality of Sertã. It was founded in 1985 by Carlos Ribeiro, Salvador Santos, António Guerra, José Gonçalves, António Mendes, Nuno Gonçalves, Franklin Silva, António Reis, Valdemar Silva, Manuel Salvado Pegas, José Carlos Biscaia and Albano Meneses, among others. It received the name Constable for being raised in the village of Cernache do Bonjardim, where Nuno Álvares Pereira, the Constable of the Kingdom, was born. Currently (2013) it emits three frequencies 91.3, 97.5 and 107.0 MHz.
