On August 25, 1947, Rádio Clube de Lages was born, led by the pioneer of communications in the Serra Catarinense, the São Paulo native Carlos Joffre do Amaral. Like every young explorer, Carlos Joffre dreamed, idealized and put on the air one of the most credible stations in the State of Santa Catarina due to the fundamental role he plays with the community until today. Now, under the command of businessman Roberto Amaral, Rádio Clube continues to play its role, always present and active in the social, community and economic problems of Serra Catarinense, mainly in relation to the development of Lages.
