Rádio Clube de Valença, which had a frequency of 1540 kHz with the prefix ZYZ-50, was founded by Mr. Aurelino Ribeiro Novais on May 16, 1970, a group of gentlemen who were also directors of CVI, the broadcaster, formed part of the board. it was installed in Praça da Republica, inside the Municipal Theater and the transmitters were in Rua do Taipiri, where today the central studio is located.
