Cidade FM 94.7 emerged from the migration from AM to FM on November 7, 2016, in a ceremony held at the Salão Nobre of the Palácio do Planalto, in Brasília. Previously, it was known as Rádio Cidade 1190 AM. On August 22, 2017, ANATEL approved the transmission location and released channel 94.7 for definitive installation by Cidade FM, which chose November 15, 2017 to debut the new programming. In this way, in a new format, the broadcaster highlighted the slogan “Always more you”, where you, the listener, are the most important person.
