Rádio de Chapecó, Santa Catarina: The Pioneer of Western Santa Catarina! Rádio Chapecó is a radio station from the city of Chapecó, state of Santa Catarina, Brazil. The station aired on October 23, 1948, going down in history as the first station in the West of Santa Catarina. Founders: Jacinto Manuel Cunha and Protégenes Vieira (traders), Raul José Campos (lawyer) and Serafim Enos Bertaso (civil engineer). The station broadcasts 19 hours of daily programming, from 5:00 am to 12:00 am.
