Radio Béton is a local associative radio created in 1984, broadcasting to Tours and a large part of the Indre-et-Loire department on the 93.6 FM frequency. Its creation is contemporary with the free radio movement of the 1980s. Its longevity is due to broadcasting choices resolutely turned towards musical plurality, to constant involvement in local cultural life. Distribution choices are oriented towards musical diversity and the promotion of artists ignored by the commercial circuits. Avant-garde and alternative, she is interested in local musical talents and is also involved in the cultural life of the Tours region.
